Who we are

Bellflower 1st United Methodist Church has been serving the spiritual needs of Bellflower, including the surrounding cities of Downey, Lakewood, Norwalk and Paramount since 1955. We are a multiracial, multicultural congregation and we celebrate our diversity through our worship, fellowship, study, leadership, and all facets of our lives.

We are a connectional church. That means we are joined with other United Methodist Churches to form the Long Beach District and the California-Pacific Annual Conference.

Whether first time seeker or long time church member, all are welcome here to experience the saving love of Jesus Christ as we seek to live out His command to "Make Disciples for the Transformation of the World".
